Relating to Analyse: La présidence de Geffrard, I will write a piece on Christophe's economic policies one day but I prefer local meetings and conference appearances where I can talk about it in intricate details.

I mention jaune, mulatto, black, dark etc...because unfortunately in Haitian politics it matters.

I am not sure to what extent ethnicity and skin color matters today in Haiti as compared to 100, 150, 200 years ago but I 've gathered from the recent Haitian immigrants is that it still matters; it's just that the dynamics have changed.

It doesn't matter to you nor that it does matter to me but we didn't make history.

I truly appreciate the history pieces posted by you and other compatriotes but all information must be fair and balanced.

Together we are getting a better understanding the long winding road that lead to today's Haiti.
