With regard to Haiti: Aid from Venezuela and Cuba, Lionne, I doubt very much Haiti is capable of getting rid of the French again unless you know a magical way to do so. I am assuming you are not suggesting Haiti do away with the french language altogether- one the most difficult languages but certainly the most thorough modern language.

When it comes to the article of alterpress on the independence debt, once again, and I said many times before, it is 180 millions francs not 150 millions like previously thought for many decades.

There was a second secret agreement - the 150millions was for the french planteurs' plantations and the 30millions to compensate the french government itself for the government buildings.

When it comes to history of Haiti..boy there is a lot of misinformation out there.
