I don't remember anyone disputed what FD said in his poem. Some Bloggers may have other issues with you, but not about the poem, nor anyone dowmplay Haiti's role in the fight for freedom.

The problem with you I think, is that you hot tempered sometimes and that clouds your jugement sometimes.

But Most of us like to read your post! You mean no harm...But calling the blogger stupid, imbeciles etc should not come from educated people like you. You have so much to offer...My advice to you is to ignore the one who refuse to see the light, and light up more candles for the one who appreciate the benefits of light! Let us be civilized just a little.

The only thing Haitians and African-Americans have in commun is the African ancestor. The culture itself and the roads travelled to their eventual freedom and civil rights are totally different from one another. Some Haitians like to invoke the past. > >
