Nice post Mark. I agreed with your analysis.

All nations deserve and should have democracy...it need not be an American version of democracy, which is based on a divisive capitalist system.

Haitians are able to rise to any modern social system...they just need honest, intelligent, and wise leadership.

This is what they never seem to get.
