Harry, I do agree with LINDA, it seems as if you had only read a very few of the statements here from posters hustllng with such a burning issue, "HAITI'S ECONOMY/ HOW TO IMPROVE IT!"
And on your so well detail on South Korea's economical elevation to the world of financially stable states, one thing is mainly responsible, in the core of the Koreans' success is a STRONG LEADERSHIP's drive, organization toward a better future for generations to come, keeping the country afloat, is to first & foremost be credited.
If you had given yourself ample time reading thru some of the previous posts on this subject including mines, in which I had strongly suggested the presence of leadership as essential to any attempt escaping these ever ending circles of dispair, hopelessness, in our country.
LEADERSHIP is essential in any chaotic situation if progress shall be the ultimate goal for a common good.
South Korea is a country with a history, preceeding the American colonization while fighting the North Koreans, as being grounded in NATIONAL PRIDE; THE SPIRIT OF BELONGING; PROTECTING, PROMOTIONING OF THEIR CULTURE, INSISTING THAT THEIR LANGUAGE REMAIN THE ONE AND ONLY OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION'S TOOL FOR THEIR COUNTRY.
& Korean citizens would have given their lives had these principles they held so dear in their society be undermined by the colonialists Americans.
In contrast, our country which was the intention of your comparison to South Korea, is a country of which the destruction started in the colonial days when the French started burning the country down, the mountain regions while hunting down the MARROONS.
And the absence of leadership or a lack of it, accountability, disregard to or negligence of our national interests are grounds for failure.
When we take all of those circumstances, so-called leadership misbehaviors into account, it becomes discernable why we find ourselves in this mess. Being ridiculed by the the U.S. its agents camouflaging in missionary cloths running havoc in the heart of our country.
With criminally intended scientists targetting the worsening of the Haitian moral.
GET MANMAN YO!
