Perhaps all of you should be thinking more about the "economy" less about "religion." If we look at history, we see that religion has been very divisive (see my earlier post about it).
If we look at what's going on in Iraq, Palestine, and recently in Bosnia and Ireland (to name a few) we know that religion continues to be divisive.
If we look at the way religion (Hinduism) devises the social classes in India, we know for sure that no political structure should really be based on religion.
I have not followed all that has gone on with your religious discussion, but perhaps what Flo is saying is that China's economy is on the leading edge right now, but religion has no place in that society.
History teaches us that the larger the role of religion the more oppressive the society.
So, perhaps we should respect each other's religion (this means even if in your own opinion the other person's religion is not a religion to you), give each other the space to worship whichever aspect of God is chosen.
This way perhaps we can stop the personal attack and get into discussions that will help our nation grow. [Although, I did notice that some of you in that discussion are certainly not Haitian.]

Anacaona You have missed the point, let's stick to the main idea of the subject of our discussion here. First of all, I want to begging by telling that I am no gay, and am not trained by any white man theology, to repeat your own words, nor did

I agree that religion killed many people, even the Messiah. So, if you like voodoo so much to call it your religion, you have the right to that freedom of choice. But, there are always consequences to the choices we have made, bad or good. The dif

OK you elicited an answer from me. Not wishing to sound redundant, but you based your argument on theology that reflected the ideas of European men of a bygone era. That kind of reasoning offends against logic. What is the objective of your argument

Mr/Mrs Flo Greetings! From a Christianity stand point, the objective of my argument is specifically intended to redirect people's attention on the mount Calvary, where Christ was crucified on their behalf, rather of helping them by focusing on

Linda, I wholeheartedly agree with you as far as we should focus out attentions to our national economy and less about religion. You are correct when you state that oftentime religion is a source of conflict. However, I would be remiss if I fail

I would like to apologize to all the bloggers for a teen age relative who decided to have fun while I was gone with all of you. The person is only 14years old. Mardochard can you research a good economic model that would work in your view for Haiti?
