In my humble opinion, I believe that having double nationality

With regard to Double nationality, In my humble opinion, I believe that having double nationality is the right thing for us to do as Haitian.

As some of you already pointed out, its benefits out-weigh its disadvantage.

I consider the double nationality more or less as a way to pay homage to all those who were force to leave their country as a result of their political views or economic situation.

I also think that we Haitian needs to consider the fact that at the end of the 30 plus years of dictatorship behavior we committed an act that was just as bad as the dictatorship doctrine that crippled us, where we did not include or make any call to those who were leaving aboard in the 1987 constitution.

The dictatorial rules sent these Haitian into exile and we the people either forget about them or did our best to maintain them in exile.

Therefore, I think its time for us to claim our bloodline and give a true meaning of who we are as Haitian.
