how haitian suppose to appreciate Haiti

My freind Haiti is not the worse country in the world, look at irak, afganistan, somalis etiopie, sudan, no, no, the enemies of haiti try to put that in our mind, but it is not true, haiti has economical preblem, but still we have colorful culture, we have beautiful people, I realise that when I was in the festival de 18 mai in miami, we haitians people are pbeautiful, I was impressed by so many beautiful young girl and very nice youg men,
I have an American freind of mine who said oh my God!!!! the haitian people we beautiful they have (blak, white, mulatto) she said we have a rich and colorful culture, because she went in the haitian festival too for the first time, she even said that the way some people portay haititian as ugly low class, after she went to the featival she said haitian look like high class people dispite others try to destroy the haitian reputation and our image

I want to go further than that, whenever some thing politically went wong in haiti, the international media try to make the worse out of it, it come to the point litle haitine who born in the USA try to scape their true haitian identity, some even claim they are jamican, or some haitian girl even say they refuse to date haitian men, but guess what!!! When the blak american or jamaican give them a baby and left, I do not look at them or if I see them on the stop bus with the baby winter time I ignore them why?

cause they try to humiliate my haitian people, also some haitian has a stupid mentality when their kids are born in the USA, they try to make that kid believe haiti is a hell or a place where poor /stupid live, those kind of parent should be a shame of themself, because no matter what you are haitian your blood and blood will be haitian

Tha that is why I like wyclef jean, no matter where he goes he raise the haitian flag with pride he doesnot care what they say, but he knows who he is, if you try to hide who you are and then you are a treater, hypocrite, in the same way if you have your mom, black ugly, kokobe she is still your mom, love her cherish her whereever you go, and that is the same thing for haiti if we as haitian we hide who we are, how you expect for the jamaican, dominican, cuban, trinidadian to respect you, visit your country, do something, talk good go visit the school in Haiti talk with the student advice them, in your town where you are from, talk to the peoale about clean the street, always talk good about your country even thing are not the way we want it to be, haiti is a part of me whomever who treat or talk bad haiti (tout plume sous do moin kanpe),
