Hi Touliman,

I agree with you that that part of the law sucks.

However, the part we got is a good first step. With this first step, we can now effectively have an impact on the elections.

That means, in the future, we can make other changes--including changing this aspect of the law. Remember, little by little the bird makes its nest. We'll take this for now.

That is good news and I welcome such a move. However, the idea of renouncing to any foreign citizenship before running for an electoral position in Haiti sucks. Those morons in Haiti still want to keep us out of Haiti with their dual citizenship law. > >

It is has been a long fight since 1865 after the first U.S. coup d'etat in Haiti against Lycius Fellicite Salomon Jeune where the new exiled Haitians claimed that dual citizenship law and should we wait for another 150 years again to change that par > >
