let me answer this question for you I come from the country side and I know the haitian reality more than a lot of you on this web. Why those parents give the children as restavek is because those parents have a said pitit se bien malere then when they left a man they got another one and produce more and more children.

all they relly on is the ti moso terre ke manman or papa te kite pou yo a. yo pa ka pran soin pitit la yo cheche you moun-n lavil epi yo bay pitit la as restavek kote ti moun nan ap join-n at least yon ti kal manje pou jounin an. epi papa sa a ginyin 3 to 4 fam-m li pa kapab pran soin yo selman kale pitit.

se pi bel gloire pou moun-n sa a pou li di ke pitit li o cap ou port au prince.tout tan nou pa edike moun-n sa yo pou you pakale pitit nap toujou komanse mande pou yo e panse ke my hard working dollars can used to take care of them. first of all I'm against it because I have to take care of my nices and nephew in haiti in addition to own. think first before you go crazy guys every on of us have so many people that we take care in haiti.

we already contribute 1.5 billion to the economy thay is enough for myself I can send 3-5 times for the month most of the time live my bills just to send money.

I wish that the new president understand what is life in u.s where we do not have a life.
