I cannot understand people like Preval and many of the Haitian elite who have no pride, no dignity, and no sense of decency.

It is because their parents never gave them these three fundamental characteristics that these people are unable to do what is necessary for all of us to be proud of our nation.

It is their insatiable greed that keeps them from having just enough dignity so as not to turn their own country into a slum yard. It is because they lack moral decency that they do not know how to treat their fellow Haitians and their nation.

These people really do belong with sewer rats.
