It is pleasing to read from someone who is asking the questions in lieu of pontificating as to who should be the president of such a devastated country as Haiti basing merely on visceral reactions or class politics.

While remarkable individuals can be found in any nation on earth, certain countries give their citizens much greater opportunity to succeed than others at certain point in time. An oppropriate question would be who amongst those candidates would provide the very best opportunity to live a healthy, safe, reasonably prosperous, and upwardly mobile life. Five categories of national well-being we must consider:Education, Health,Quality of life, Economic competitiveness and Political environment.

Let us then begin the analytical process in earnest and objectively for the sake of the current and future generations.
