His name is Joseph Tchaconte, one of the biggest rice importers in Haiti which he sells under the Tchako brand name. Now should we blame him as well for the troubles of Haiti, or does his dark skin make it OK?
Sadly our colonial slave mentality blinds us by focusing and limiting our attention on the color of skin. There are many "black" entrepreneurs in Haiti who are making lots of money like the more known and lighter skin colored families above mentioned.
I don't hear of them "spreading the wealth" or "giving back" either but they never seem to get any blame, why is that?
