Ayisyen Patriyot says...

You're right.

I'll elaborate perhaps later when I have more time. They use us when they need us but won't let us in unless we are close friends.

How many times the last leaders have promised but never delivered?

THe reality is that the local guys don't want us in because they're scared.

They fear that we may outclass them with knowledge, initiatives, honesty, pragmatism, and even patriotism, etc.
But we know well some guys (with american passports) have been placed in high positions simply because they are closely tied to some high-powered individuals or institutions.

I have never changed my nationality for that same reason.

I did not really have to. A friend of mine did so he could get his mother in quickly.

I am no more haitian than he is.
I mean this situation needs to be solved as quickly as possible.

A jew is an Israeli wherever he's born. An haitian should be recognized as such as long as one of his or her parents is.

Hope they hear us!

Hi patriyot, I want to start by asking you a question : Do you think the Haitian government really cares about the diaspora? I, for one, am not saying that it does not, but its actions leave a lot to be desired. You must have heard membe > >

i totally agree with you. Aristide and his supporters most of them extremists and car robbers need to stop pressuring Preval because the man could work and he has good intention for Haiti. the first good thing he did he form a government of coalition > >
