Narco News says...

Mexican singer of Grupero genre, Sergio Vegas was shot dead hours after he denied reports that he had been murdered.

Police blamed the drugs gangs for the killing.

Another Mexican Grupero singer named Sergio Gomez was killed in 2007 in the same way.
