According to an old Haitian saying "lajan se san (money is blood." Trillions of dollars have been allocated to Haiti under the so-called "reconstruction effort" of the country.
Everybody seems to see red over this pile of green cash.
Stanley Lucas spent time and energy pointing out all the flaws and the banning of the Haitian government system, in so many words, the absence of the Haitian government oversight of those trillions of dollars.
Anyone with a half brain should ask the important question, what government oversight Stanley Lucas is talking about?
Would anyone with a half brain really put the Haitian government in charge of trillions of dollars under the so-called reconstruction effort?
C'mon people! even the caveman is laughing and wondering if would that be possible.
We all know exactly what would happen to the money if the Haitian government is in charge.
I am amazed to see the reaction of these Haitians over the money as if it's really their money.
The money is donated to Haiti even though Brazil is the only donor so far that has already disbursed its $55 million to Haiti already.
In my opinion, the donors have full rights to dictate how the money is going to spend and who is going to control the distribution of the money, and set all the rules and regulations on how they want the money to be spent.
The Haitian government should not have any say whatsoever
Looking back, for decades Haiti has been getting billions of dollars from countries for all kind of projects, the government just keeps stealing all the money and nothing ever gets done. These are the same crooks Stanley Lucas wants to get access to this pile of money this time around?
Hell no!
This is the same government that claimed to be too brook to buy 125,000 tents to house the quake victims.
C'mon people let's get serious here!
