I've listened to Stanley Lucas for years now; he is young, positive and fresh with solutions for Haiti.

He spent years educating the youth, women and other in order to get them involved in Haitian politics.

Lucas as president would be a fresh start toward the modernization of the state and the Haitian economy.

But I doubt that he can make it. The forces of corruption referred to in this article in Haiti have so much institutional power that he would be killed or destroyed before getting there.

He has been a target for years, and there are relentless efforts underway to destroy him. I am amazed that he has survived these vicious attacks.

I am a big supporter of him.

Maryse.

I read the New York Times everyday, my favorite paper. The author of that article is one of Stanley Lucas haters. That network used to get paid by Aristide and their mission is to destroy Lucas before he become president of Haiti. The following link > >

Prior to reading that article, I myself used to listen to Mr. Lucas on the radio. I find him to be charismatic and a visionary so you can understand my disappointment when I read the article. > >

Frankly, I don't think someone who lives all his/her life in Haiti would make a better president than someone else who lives most of his/her life outside of Haiti, and vice-versa. We, Haitian people, don't never elect candidates to public office > >
