This is the right time for Haiti to take its destiny...

Yolande says...

This is the right time for Haiti to take its destiny seriously.

Haiti needs good leadership and vision to lead again among the black countries.

We were the first black republic to defy European colonialism and eradicate slavery and we were the second nation after the United States to become an independent country.

Haitians should cultivate those cultural core values and lead again the black world as a good role model and show to the white world that we are capable of doing things if given the opportunity to do so and we can lead again.

We can make Haitians proud of themselves for being Haitians, but Haitian elites are destroying this country to please the outside world with kidnapping, political assasinations, rampant corruption and bad governance.

Our local elites are responsible for Haitians' misery and suffering and we need an active and engaged church that can denounce social injustices in Haiti to make Haitians proud of being Haitians.

We can lead the black world again if we take into consideration our socio-economic problems and if we know how we can come with practical solutions to solve problems and not creating more economic social ills we can lead again...
