When I read the content of the topic, I felt as if it was a piece of carrot at the end of a stick to make people believe to something appealing but in reality might be deceiving.
The former president might have good intentions, but no one will take the chance for a return of a former president whose presidency displeased the people.
I do not favor any politician, the same way I do not like car dealers and salesmen in general, because they are all human beings and human beings are fallible.
I simply say things the way they are and analyze them as such.
I am asking myself this question: Can a former president improve Haiti with a new presidency?
I doubt it, and I am not pessimist.
All the presidents and politicians Haiti had been having, could not favorably improve the country and the people whose main problems are ignorance and the direct or indirect prevention of true democracy (Prevention imposed by government and government institutions).
No past Haitian leaders could really improve the people and allow them to have an active democratic living in Haiti.
The article written by Lambert P. Calixte proposing to the Haitian people a new presidency of Jean-Claude Duvalier with a team of former presidents (Whoever they are) is of bad taste; because I do not think that those patriotic citizens can "bring trust, accountability and restore Haitian dignity as well".
Whatever the intentions of Jean-Claude Duvalier could be in his aspiration to become one more time president of Haiti, it would be better for him to retreat from that and let a new era of politicians occupy the political scene.
There are other things Jean-Claude Duvalier can be involved in, like for instance, creating a worldwide charitable organization.
Respectfully, that's my comment.
