Janette, what the other person wrote might have been stupid or whatever else it was, but it will not get them in trouble with the FBI. It is a federal offense to falsely claim to be an FBI agent.

A person might get away with saying it verbally because, unless it's recorded, no one can prove that it was said. On the other hand, writing this lie on the web can definitely be traced back to the individual, and that individual can be put away for a very long time. Comparing that to someone who is just being a "jerk" as you say really indicates a severe inability to think clearly.

On the "white people" thing...

It is true that they are helping us now. However, I don't think the help they are providing to us today can actually wipe away the 200+ years of the harm they caused to that small nation.

Are we grateful that this time they decided to do the right thing?

Sure we are. Should they be commended for doing it. Sure they should! Should that make us forget the last 200 years?

No.
