The Ideal Form Of Government For Haiti?

Rubens Titus says...

Hi to Hank and all; No ideal form of government exists anywhere.

Capitalism is not a political doctrine or a form of government to adopt; it is only and only a macro and micro economic doctrine.

We appreciate your concerns but I doubt you have studied Haiti yet. Most Haitians are unemployed and paid no income taxes, a few still pay property taxes; there exist few corporates in Haiti; if you mean the major businesses that have been around for decades or even a century, well they rarely pay their taxes so I do not see how you can eliminate what has not been paid for decades.

Marxism is not socialism; the USA, although not branded a socialist nation does have a huge socialist underpinning since the days of the Anti-trust laws of 1889 and foward.

FDR had to put in place a socialist safety net to assure the great depression does not repeat itself.

"Sell the nationalized industries"...you mean privatize government owned agencies.

I am all for privatization that is beneficial to my beloved Haiti but keep in mind that the Haitian government did not force-nationalized any businesses; the nationalization was embedded in the concession contracts that were signed by the capitalist investors decades ago.
I could go on several pages but I am stopping here...
