Touching on TORTUGA ISLAND PORT MORGAN SOLUTIONS FOR HAITI, Greg,
Not had time to read all the posts, but I like your ideas and would have to agree with the thrust of them.

I'm not sure that idea that foreigners come in a claim islands for themselves, though...It feels very xenophobic.

With any development, an owner will need help, funding, experience and so on to develop the raw material (a beautiful island) that he has.

Most places that have really thrived have been open to this outside development - it speeds the process if outside financiers and funders are welcomed and given free and open opportunity to pour funds into an area - no one likes to be eyed with suspicion if they are taking what is always a risk on a new area.

I have a large development in DR and this island caught my eye, it truly is beautiful.

We work eco-friendly, low level, low density and with a view to always bettering the local community within which we work - school, education, training and ongoing employment, not simply construction/labour jobs.

Feel free to contact me if any of this is of any interest, all the best
MAT
