Nunu, Once again, you barking on the wrong tree. Granted...

Nunu,
Once again, you barking on the wrong tree. Granted Haitians come to the United States looking for a better life so are many other nationalities on the planet.
Granted there are many Haitians who behave badly in foreign lands so are all the other immigrants.
Other countries and foreigners treat Haitians like crap because their own government doesn't treat them any better.
The Haitian government doesn't treat Haitians like human, or as first class citizens with respect, integrity, and dignity.
It is hard and almost impossible to ask others to respect you, to treat you with dignity and integrity when your own government doesn't treat you as such.
Do you remember the Duvalier (papa Doc) era?
Even though he was the most brutal dictator of the century, but Haitians were respected and admired around the world because he had required it. Duvalier had instilled patriotism and pride in us all Haitians because he had provided the leadership.
I remember the time when Duvalier (papa Doc) came on the radio and gave an ultimatum to all foreigners living/visiting Haiti.
He demanded that they interacted with Haitians with utmost respect and if they feel they are superior to/better than Haitian citizens, and therefore, refusing to mingle with them, he asked them to go back to their country where they came from or just stay in their countries and don't come to Haiti.
That statement had boosted Haitians self-esteem and pride to the roof. Every Haitian was proud to be Haitians and their love for the country was unbreakable.
Unfortunately, the big fat pig called Jean-Claude started to undo all that and now, today, there isn't any of that left anymore.
We have become the laughing stock even to the caveman and to all the mokeys doing flip-flaping on trees in African jungles.
The topic is: The problem with Haiti is Us the Haitian people
