I understand you Zac and I extend my appreciation to you for your kind rebukes.
However the prsidency is not a mere job and whoever becomes preseident in whatsoever country deserves respect.
You dont voice about the president of a country as she did. You have to respect the head of your nation so that other people could do the same. Too often we misunderstand the situation in Haiti.
Instead of supporting the president so that the economic elite can respect the law as established by the constitution and the people, we prefer belittling the function of the presidency which endangers the honesty of our leaders in dealing with national affairs.
We just want to tell people like Linda that Preval is a president like Obama is, each one in his respective country.
There is no pesident of rich countries and president of poor coubties' seat in the UN or the OAS general assemblies.
Each one of them deserves respect and if you no longer want him to be the head of your state, you wait for the expiration of his term; that's the fundamental basis of democracy.
That will help the nation to gain respect when seated with other nation.
Like I said everyone of us is responsible for the lasting crisis in Haiti.
Let's join our hands together to find solutions instead of throwing the blame on President Preval after nearly three years in office.
We all want to see the condition of the poor Haitian bettering but none of us wants to contribute.
And if Dessalines, Christopher, Petion, Boyer, Riviere, Capois Lamort...acted in like manner, we would still be the properties of France and, who knows, no black country would be free except by divine providence.
God bless Haiti, God bless our nation!
