sometimes you have to read as well as listen to older people.

My grand parents were story tellers and always talking about what was happenning.

As for duvalier he was a dictator but he was dealing only with people that wanted to give him coup d'etat. At the biginning of his term he kill several people and sent some into exile.

however their are thing that the book never explain to you that people took advantage to commit crimes on Duvalier's name. You can said whatever you want and your idea seem sometimes logical but their is one thing you do not understand.

how do you want to transform haiti with a population that do not know how to read and write.

I would like to see your dreams come true but you have to go to haiti spend sometimes and study the haitian mentallity.

then I think you will work from there.

You will see when we said that haiti need a duvalier to move on you will understand better

The topic is: HAITI NEEDS ANOTHER DUVALIER TYPE PRESIDENT

Mr. Doncarlos my sincere apologies, here I was thinking I'm dealing with someone who had common sense. The problem is not with having senators or different political parties. The true problem is that most senators are incompetent, ignorant and corrupt > >

Angie, perhaps we should make the difference between Duvalier the father and Duvalier the son. The father was a blood thirsty tyrant, the son was a good leader, but in the end he ended up being just another thief who bankrupted the country. > >

Zac, although I think that the Duvalier fils era was better for Haiti, I absolutely don't think that we would ever want to go back to the period of Duvalier pere. The fact is that neither Duvalier or his son really did anything to move Haiti forward. > >
