Linda, I am exploring and hope for a reconciled solution to the problem of our beloved brothers and sisters who had freely renounced all allegiance and fidelity to Haiti.
We will find the solution through mutual respect, honesty and compassion.
It is my opinion that Haiti is in needs not because she has done something wrong, but because every time she prepares one of us to take care of her, we betray her by trading our allegiance and fidelity to her for safety, comfort and riches that other countries promised.
I admire the prowess of other nations, I love Haiti.
I respect their achievements, I am crazy about Haiti.
If you freely voluntarily renounced your birth rights, then why do you care?
They are many other individuals, organizations and institutions who give to Haiti, not because they expect something in return, but for the pleasure in the act of giving.
If greedy naturalized U. S. citizens stop sending to Haiti, maybe Haitians will have another incentive to return back to their fields and to learn to count on God who is the giver of everything.
I am hoping that something good will come out of the debate on the Haitian "Diaspora obsession with Dual Citizenship".
I am hoping that Haiti will recover her lost sons and daughters.
I am hoping to find unity with my beloved brothers and sisters.
