Could you please provide us with specific information about Mrs. Manigat.

I would be happy to support someone who is proven to have leadership experience, even if it's at the grassroot level; someone with a college degree, earned from a respectable university; someone who has proven that they understand the concept of national needs above greed and personal grand posturing; and someone who has had exposure to the international community and will know how to behave appropriately outside of their private little Haitian circles.

I will do my own digging, but since you seem to favor this woman, you must already know all of this information; sharing with us would help her cause--if she is worthy of the position.
