Tiba, you actually don't even know how right you are. A friend of mine who worked for the US government was once part of a meeting with Preval and several US dignitaries.
He said he had never been so embarrassed in his whole life, because Preval came to the meeting completely drunk, with his shirt open nearly to his belly button, and open sandals that showed really ugly feet. Everyone else at the meeting was dressed appropriately.
He said that as a Haitian he didn't think he could ever have felt so ashamed of our country, since in fact Preval now represents Haiti.
The topic is: Rene Preval, Jesse Jackson, and Fritz Longchamps at Palais National Haiti

My beloved and Mark, Please guys go a little easy on the guy. If you take a much closer look at the picture, you would notice that Preval is struggling with a "hangover." Guys, for a moment, you seem to forget that Preval is an alcoholic. Alco > >

Not care much about the way he dresses. I do not think that's a matter, but as long as he was doing the right things for the country, that would be alright with him. I do not think he's doing the right any things rights but talking and no action for > >

He looks more like he had being invited to a meeting, and was late, but doesn't look like he was the host of the meeting. However, one thing you see here, it shows a real character of many Haitians when they face people of other races or other > >
