Tiba you're right, I understand and I agree. Like you said no...
Zac says...
Tiba you're right, I understand and I agree.
Like you said no citizen is going empty his or her account to invest in infrastructures in Haiti.
And i'm sure no one person has that kind of money either.
The idea of diaspora not sending money or travel to Haiti would work but not everybody would observe it. I read about a group of Haitians who started an investment bank in Haiti I believe it's called Promocapital.
Let's face it there's a lot of Haitians with money nowadays If they would deposit their money in a bank like that.
That same bank could provide Haiti with loans with a low or perhaps no interest to build the infrastructures it needs.
It would be a more dignified way to reconstruct the country in this way instead of our leaders traveling around the world begging for money.
The Haitian diaspora can be a great resource to Haiti but these crooks back home either don't get it or they know if we get involved they won't be to steal like they used to.
But i believe retribution is right around the corner.

Compatriotes Tiba, Zac, Bougui and Montresor I do not know what was the beef between you guys but I do not want to be part of it. As a patriot and an intellectual I refuse to indulge myself in pettiness and TRIBAL mentality as our ancestors are and c

Montressor this is nothing personal, you simply don't get it, it is not smart or wise to let the guilty go unpunished. Personally I'm bashing your ideology not you. And it's my intelligence and common sense that make me realize that for a society fun

Compatriote Zac I do not know how Mr Montresor has put forward his theory on not judging Aristide or Duvalier but I remain certain that if we as a society would decide to judge some of our past leaders it would constitute an enormous drain on us eco

Hans let me clarify myself, I'm not saying we should use our limited resources to go after Aristide or Duvalier. I agree that we should leave them in the past. The reason I decided to smack Montressor is because he said in a previous post that the Ha

Gera Bougui, "The constitution is right with regard to dual citizenship. what needs to be done is the migratory education of those leaving the country to go live abroard. Inform them of the consequences of naturalization" (Bougui). Bou

Well if Montresor said some s%%%like that then he needs to explain himself because that statement does not stand to any logic. May be Mr Montresor has a fund that was provided to him by the Reagan, Kennedy, Nixon who kept Duvalier in power for so lo

Dear Mr.President Montresor, oops! my bad! I should say Dear Son Excellence, I don't know anything about you personally. I have never met you before and maybe I have no plan of meeting you in the near future either, but who knows, I might change m

Tiba, There are so many important roles the "naturalized diaspora" could have played, yet they have remained silent. Where are they when Dominicans keep decapitating and lynching our brothers. They keep venerating and worshiping Pedro Martinez, Many

So tell me gera is it jealousy because you too can become a naturalized citizen. You are weak and a coward you want the "naturalized diaspora" to fight your battles for you. Stop complaining if you're such a loyal Haitian why don't you stand for Ha
