Zac, I wish you had followed your instinct and gone on to the University of Montreal, but that's water under the bridge.

What I don't get is why you can't go to school now. Someone with your thirst for knowledge should never be deprived of an education.

I understand that you may not be able to go to school full time, but you could go part time. However, in my opinion, someone like you should just give up everything else their doing and go back to school.

If you go part time, you wont get much financial aid; you'll most likely just get loans.

Whereas, if you go back full time, you will be eligible for grants like the PELL or the new Obama student package (even if you are just a resident).

Either way, I think you handle yourself well and should pursue a career where you can be an advocate for your people either here or in Haiti.

Linda That was a very good point you made. Going to school part-time will still qualify him for Pell Grant from the federal government as long as he is not taking lesser than 6 credits. He will not, however, get (TAP) Tuition Assistance Program be > >

Tiba and Linda thanks for your great advice. I've really been thinking about going to school, one of my closest friends from high school just got his bachelor in political science this year. He already plans to go to law school in the fall. Four > >

Zac, I'm glad you start putting more serious thoughts about pursuing your college education. Since you make reference about talking to military recruiters to join the military, am I right to say that you're living in the United States and that yo > >
