Allow me to mention the following, the government would still intefere if you or me and us in the diaspora go to Haiti trying to promote private sector investment without the government getting its cut. Also the private sector cannot build road without the government.

The electric grid of EDH for example is very antique and needs total overhaul.

The intellectual capital is there and so is the desire, I believe that anyone who attempt to launch national infrastructure projects will hit a road block.

I have heard many stories where car companies have offered to rebuild Haiti's roads provided we only import their cars for 5 or 10 years.

I think that it is or was a sweet deal.

Anyway, let me stop for now because I can go on and on about our infrastructure issues.
