Look, I've been in Nigeria, I met family members that don't speak the same dialect, if they don't speak english, they cannot communicate with each other.
I believe that their population is over 100m, that's scary. They have the same problem with Haiti but they have natural resources such as gold, diamond and oil.The UROBA seem the most educated, they control the wealth of the country, my wife is IBO, they work hard and have nothing to show for.We have been exploited by our brothers and sisters that think Washington would wake up and realize that we have been good soldiers and give us a break.
It won't take a long time for us to speak French.
We need to have a government that understand
our problem.
Bring french-borned teachers.
Our native tongue is so close to the french language that it would be a waste of time to teach in creole.
We need to speak one language.
I prefer French over Creole but as long that we speak one language it doesn't matter.
The topic is: Go back to school and learn French!

Cela n'a rien a voir a l'intelligence etc.

Lloyd, this argument about "the language of our masters", which if I remember correctly is from the author Frantz Fannon, is outdated and can no longer apply in what is now a mass communication world, where most evolved communities are part of a glob

Linda, I hope everyone here would read your post on this language issue and understand that this is nothing but a scapegoat Haitians are using not to fulfill their obligations toward their own country. You see, not only Haitians are a bunch of

Linda,i always manage to respect your opinion even when i desagree with you.I've been around the world and base on my observation that most of the countries that have more than one tongue are poor. Our neighbor, dominican republic is the perfect exampl

Hello Mr LLOYD Well said.

Tiba my blogging friend, I have to again caution you with how you phrase your thoughts. I know that you don't mean to say that all Haitians are "lazy," and yet that is what you did say. I know you meant to say that many Haitians today are not taking
