Replying to Haiti's uncertain future, Well...

well...

"You went to school to study technology and become an engineer, I on the other hand went to school to study ways and tactics to bring change to a country or community and I become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

"

again this is my point and this is the change i am talking about...what if 10000 more could get access to be (LMSW), what if many more could have a major in computer science?

You still do not see my point?

let me tell you what is happening.

the US will not give visa to Haitians to come to the usa. They will not get to be (LMSW) or a (RN) or (MCSE) or (DCSE) and more. To my point of view people like you and i should go there and make ways for them to get access to those education and "yes we can".

Right now a significant mass of our young Haitians goes to Dominican rp looking for education different from what they have in Haiti at the price of heavy us $ and a lot of humiliations.

And you keep asking me what help and change i am asking you to bring?

i am not sure why you keep intensifying on a "culture" point wile modern education was my focus.

you are talking much about Haitians way of life that should remain intact...and cultures...and systems...but you, me, linda...and many 10000 more went to America and got our "EDUCATIONS" there...a lot of us still in America...and you are talking about keeping the integrity of our ways vs another successful way of doing things! I am not sure why this way of doing things in our hearts are so much similar to hypocrisy (note that i said our hearts) you, me, and many more Haitians knows that if the US border was open right now free access to the usa within a blink of an eye, more than half of the Haitians population would be gone, out feeling their country, their cultures, their system, their educations, leaving everything behind...and by the time you blink the other eye...well...

than open both eyes look again and see if you, myself, linda...and many more would be there.

(than again my question to you is what system, what education, what government, what culture, and even worst what country?) it looks like we lost all of that long ago right?

i had the privilege to get a great and wonderfully knowledge in the usa and even way out of the usa it is serving me in Europe.

Their diplomas and certifications carried me way, way, way further than my passport.

the world no longer looking at an individual because it can do the voodoo dance or cause it can say the "holly father's prayer" or because of the carnival dancing, nor the flamingo dancing or the bailey dancing, nor the stupid accord eon music play by the French, or the old slave song...no...none of that anymore...the world look at an individual for how much you have in the B&B (BRAIN AND BANK) so cultures, religions, costumes...

are fading away faster than the Haitians would leave Haiti if the border was open.
i will be in haiti on the 22th or 23rd of feb 2008. i am setting up a free seminar on( network topologies, vb.net and cisco system) in IMOTECH at thomassin 25 numero 44. port-au-prince Haiti, soon i will launch the website www.imotechonline.com.

Precise date and time and how to register for that seminar will be posted there, if joining this movement is not your focus now...at least refer those you know already back there in Haiti and encourage those you know already in the computer science field to assist at not cost In my seminar.

And if one day you or Linda decides to do something freely in the name of education, IMOTECH local will be yours at no cost to you to.

The topic is: Haiti's uncertain future
