Welcome Kapwa, that was such a nice post. But hey, since were at it, I think we should ask the American government to refund us for the funds they sacked from our national coffers when they invaded Haiti in 1915. They should give us back our money with the total interest that it would have accrued if it we had invested it. I know there's no chance of that happening, but its a great thought.

you're right. Everybody wants to change Haiti, instead the country keeps getting worse. the other point you bring out that is also true is nothing is being done. So now its time for us to start doing. word without action is useless. we've seen that o > >

Everybody wants to change Haiti, but the funny part about that, no one says yet what exactly they want to change. "Change" is a broad word or vague word. We need to be more precised, and more detailed, and more specific. But most importantly we ne > >

OK, this time I think Tiba overreacted. Although I have issues with 1631, I did not think that he meant any harm in saying "don't worry, they'll find you." Actually when I read it, I smiled. 1631 I don't think limiting your dialogue benefits anyone. > >

Who is "you guys." I said nothing until now about 1631's post about "they'll find you." I actually thought it was kind of funny. You seem to be getting ahead of yourself in more ways than one. > >

When France refused to recognize Haiti's independence 200 years ago, Haiti was forced to pay its colonizer the equivalent of $22 billion in today's money, to be free. Now Haiti wants that money back, and will not take NO for an answer. In 1838, Ha > >

No Tiba, I was posting to Haiticherie. I guess my post was confusing. He said "you guys" something something, when I had not yet responded to 1631's post. So, I told him he was getting ahead of himself by accusing me of doing something I had not done > >

Oh Linda, you made me smile :) I like to raise challenging topics, I guess you could call me a "LIBERAL" I think that's what they call people like me in American politics How would you classify yourself? Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or > >

Hi 1631, I also have got serious incredible difficulties to link Ms. Linda to a political class. She is not liberal because she is too hard on Preval, who is a die-hard liberal. I think she voted for McCain, not because she is republican, but her > >
