Holy mamma mia!
Everybody wants to change Haiti and this is something that has been talking about long before Jesus Christ came, and yet, nothing is being done, and there is no sign there will never be any action taken.
I have noticed also that many Haitians refer to change as having a little street corner store or building a little hose as making changes.
I maen seriousely, how much can an ordinary citizen can do in Haiti that could be taken as a significant change?
Can ordinary citizens change or bring change in Haiti without the involvement of the government?
What can ordinary citizens do to bring change in Haiti if the government doesn't set the tone. the path, the agenda.
Last time I checked, building infrastructure in any country has always been the job of governments.
Among infrastructures, you see for example: roads, school system, health care system, electricity, communication, drinking water system, judiciary system, security system, etc...
as a matter of national security, these are government projects, and not civilian's.
We can, however, pressure the government to have a bluepoint program that could involve all citizen's participation for example: rebuilding the Haitian culture, educating and informing the public about politics, how to stay in good health, etc....
This is can only be possible with a government that is really care about the nation and its citizen.
A government of inclusion that acknowledges the rights of its people to participate and have a say about their country's welfare.
