As far as I'm concerned, I think learning this part of history would be more necessary for the Dominicans than it would be for me. I know enough history of my country, Haiti than I need to know in this time in age.
History and geography were my to favorite subjects in school.
And to be honest, I don't give a rat *ss knowing much about Trujillo.
Though it seems to me that those who share his views are the people who seem so eager to know about the low self-esteem house-slave negro Trujillo.
My interest and concerns have to do with the current state of my country, Haiti.
For example, I have a beef with Preval going to the United Nation glorifying his masters for a job well done during the hurrican devastation in Haiti, and begging for a few more dollars.
This is how the master wants it to be in Haiti, so Haitians can crawl on their knees before them begging for a piece of bread or a dollar to buy a chicken wing to eat. That makes the master feel very good.
Rene Preval is too scared of the master to drag them before the international court for putting Haiti on a forever embargo/economic sanction by refusing the rest of the world doing busines and trade with Haiti, his country.
Haiti has been under embargoes/economic sanction for decades now. Under Aristide, Haiti was paying $3 million a month on interest for loans she never got because the master put a stop to disburse the money to the government.
In 1992, the master put a naval blockad on Haiti's waters stopping all commercial ships coming to Haiti, which collapsed Haiti's entire economy in just one month.
Even the most famous American economists claimed at the time that it would take Haiti another 100 years to get Haiti's economy back to where it was before the collapse.
These are some of the tangible injustices Haiti has been facing with and is continuing to face iwth in the hands of the master.
Nobody calls on the master to restore Haiti's economy, why?
Just imagine if Haiti was a white country?
Haiti would be the most florished island in the caribbean.
I know there are amny Haitians who support the master's philosophy, ideology, policy, doctrine, and treatment of Haiti, but Haiti cannot progress while being a welfare state looking for charity from the master.
