RE: LONG TERM SOLUTION TO FEED THE PEOPLE

Tuesday Oct 16, 2007

Hi Rubens Titus; I don't think you've been coming to this blog long, otherwise you would have noticed that there have been various suggestions about how to make Haiti productive, posted at various times, by many different people.Perhaps a retro trip through the blog will help.

RE: LONG TERM SOLUTION TO FEED THE PEOPLE

Monday Oct 15, 2007

Hi, fellow Haitian
An Haitian does not live by bread only but also his/her ability to be productive.

First, we need to know if there is a real desire from the authorities to feed the mass.

Secondly, we need to know how to finance such endeavor.

It is somewhat easy to make suggestion to the Haitian government on what it needs to do to quench the misery of the people; it is somewhat difficult to indicate where is the money coming from.
Thank you

We Need To Work Together

Monday Aug 13, 2007

yeah man, right now Haiti dosen't need to be divided amongst her people.

Why should a native haitian have more rights to Haiti than a Haitian born outside the country with Haitian citizenship.

There is alot that can be done if the constituition can add this in. Sadly this board isn't read or being replied by any Haitian government officials.

Yesterday I Had This Conversation

Monday Aug 13, 2007

It's funny I read this here, yesterday I was talking to someone about the fact that haitians living outside of haiti should be integrated in the new Haiti.

my friend kept on explaining to me how the constitution said "et ne jamais renoncer as sa nationalite" which is why these haitians cannot be this or that.

Personnally, I think that Haiti need to have every son and daughter "diaspora" or "lokal" as wind beneath her wings right now.

Haitian Diaspora Should Not Be Ignored

Saturday Aug 04, 2007

This brother says alot of things that are right.

The Haitian Diaspora should not be outsiders.

They should too be considered natrual born citizens if they apply for Haitian Citiznes.

Having grown up in America we are exposed tro alot more oppurtunity to educate ourselves and as a president or deep politicatin in Haiti we can contribute alot.

I agree wholeheartedly with your comment, and share your views.

I think one of the biggest crutch our generation carries around with it is one that has to do with a lack of pride.

Yes, the restitution demand by the French government was a great injustice to us as a nation.

How they got away with it, and how the UN managed to ignore this atrocity is beyond me...

but so is the hand we have been dealt and we must rise above it somehow.

I also think that the lack of interest this upcoming generating, growing up abroad, is exhibiting has to do with our constitution to a certain extent.

Parents of today are not conversing that sense of pride in their children because there is a sense of why? the Constitution is design to treat the Diaspora as deserters for a lack of a better word, and that is a mistake.

I beleive that my generation has much to offer Haiti.

I am doing my part however, and will continue to do so in the form of my company hfcmagazine.com.

It's a pleasure chatting through this forum with you, and I look forward to more such dialogues; as once again it seems as if we share some of the same views on Haiti.

Best regards,

I'm please to read your comment, I believe through positive encouragement and positive feedback, the long process to rebuild Haiti is possible. We have young talents in the State who have the ability to give time and effort to our mother land, but it has to be recognize.

Haiti has been blacklist from the world super economic power after France has requested for Haiti to pay over $12 billion in restitution for the lost of revenue after the revolt of the slaves over 200 yrs ago.Haiti debt ratio is very high for foreign investment.

We have a duty as Haitian to promote positive reinforcement to all, boost the self-esteem of our population, promote literacy within our home, promote quality early childcare, promote writting/print awareness, provide vocational training to all men and woman, promote science, promote independent reading center, promote social studies, promote an agronomist/farmers coalition program through the diaspora by sending free tools and seeds twice a year to encourage the agriculture industry it will slowdown the exodus.
Lastly, you do the crime you paid the time through workforce.

Good day,

I read your comment posted in September 2006, and I think your facts, assessments, and anology are dead on.

Please contact me at the info@hfcmagazine.com, as I would like to hear or read more about your views and communicate my organization's mission statement to you in that retrospect.

Where Is Our President

Saturday Jan 20, 2007

Brother i suggest you get the facts before you make such a preposterous statement.

What you're saying is completely untrue.

Noone has squandered close to a billion because to this day Haiti has not even recieved a fraction of the money it was promised by the international community.

Furthermore, when they do final get any money it doesn't go straight to the government.

UN diplomats and advisors are the ones that controls the money.

They decide what to do with it. You're just spreading unfounded rumors.

Just because the international community promises something doesn't mean they will deliver on that promise.

We need to keep that in mind before we blame anyone.
