Reforestation of Haiti/ Cooperation with Dom. Rep.

Dear President Preval/members of this blog: Have you considered the possibility of cooperating with the Dominican Government?

Let's face it, the DR Government has been successful in protecting the ecology of its side the Hispaniola Island.

Please realize that that government probably has an ulterior motive in helping Haiti out of the doldrums: What do I mean?

If the ecology of Haiti breaks down completely, the massive immigration of Haitians to DR would extemely problematic to the point of producing social unrest and maybe genocide (yes, Isaid the bad word).

So it is to the advantage of both countries to help each other.

I'd like to hear ideas of the group about this initiave before I come up with mine. Ricardo Bogaert (from Denver, USA)
