I understand your point of view and your concerns.

Nevertheless I don't think anyone or a state has the right to take someone else's life even if that person is a criminel, that's my religious belief.

And you're right a lot us are under stress fearing for our families living haiti.

I'm constantly worrying about my family.

A few weeks ago my father's uncle was kidnapped our family paid 60 thousand US dollars for his release.

And two months ago while a close friend of mine was in haiti criminels broke into his house, killed a member of his family and took everything he had before they left. By the grace of God he was spared.

I cancel my plans to go to haiti because of the kidnapping.

So you see i have been affected by this situation in our country and again i understand where you're coming from. However i still think the death penalty is not be the solution.

The only reason kidnapping is rising is because the government is reward the criminels when it negotiates with them. For all we know these thugs could be working for the government.

Just like Alexis sits down with them to negotiate he can as easily arrest them because he knows who they are. the negotiation is a face to face process.
