Robert Magic I read your statement and it's very interesting.
I'm sure there are arm groups in Haiti doing their best to destabalize the country and make President Preval look bad. However Preval is a veteran politician he's been around since before i was born. My point is this, Preval is not a newcomer, this is his second term in office, he knows haitian well politics, he should have expected this sort of violence and have a plan for it because it's been going for more than two years now. The negotiation strategy of his prime minister is not working.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH CRIMINALS.
He needs to come up with a better plan, something effective.
I know a lot of people are suggesting that he should resign i don't agree with that. He was elected for five years and he should complete his five years.
But it should not be a five year term where nothing gets done. ELECTED OFFICIALS IN HAITI HAVE A TENDENCY OF NOT GETTING ANYTHING DONE. ALWAYS BLAMING THE OPPOSITION FOR THIER FAILURES.
And what's even more sad is the electors follow the same idiology, blaming the opposition when the ones they elected into office don't get anything done. I'M NEITHER FOR OR OPPOSE PREVAL.
I'm haitian who loves his country and i want to see changes, and because Preval is the president, the leader i expect him to come up with effective solutions.
He was elected for that reason
