Appreciate for publishing this article...The Haitians are very resourceful people, however, they have plagued throughout their history by incompetent governance that have impeded progressive thinking/ingenuity.

Sound planning and better utilization of the existing natural resources could have placed Haiti as a country of choice.

Land Reform and farming should be a CORE policy of the Preval administration.

I think this will allow Haitian to gain some level of independence form the rising of costs of food that is affecting the world poorest countries.

This policy will be more sustainable than receiving hand-outs from the various charitable organizations...and having fellow Haitians being mistreated for wanting a better life for their family.
