You are so right about your comments in "Poor people like me".

I just heard this morning from a friend that they vandalized his father's business and house in Haiti.

What i don't understand is why when Haitians people get angry they have get at other people whom they think have a better situation than them. Aren't we all fighting for the same thing?

How do we expect to get better when we don't respect each other?

How do we expect to go further if we don't allow other people to help us?

Especially haitians like us. Like Wooding said, for the millions of haitians who live in the US, if all of us invested a little piece of something, opened a little business to help our fellow brothers and sisters, life would be a lot better over there.

But can our brothers and sisters over there be trusted?

I think Haiti will get better when we, Haitians, understand the meaning of "solidarite", when we understand that if we join our forces together without trying to destroy another, then maybe life may be a little bit better.
