Art is a means to pleasure.

Every work of art causes the receiver to enter into a certain kind of relationship both with him or her who produced, or are producing, Art is a human activity consisting of one person consciously by means of external signs, hands on to others feelings he or she has lived through, and that other people are infected by these feelings and also experience them.
And if a person lack the capacity of being infected by art he or she might deep down be a savage.

The activity of art is as important as the activity of speech itself.
