Increasing Minimum Wage Will not alleviate
< Previous | Home | Next >
Unfortunately, if you increase the minimum wage, the prices of the products sold in turn will increase.
Why?
As production costs increase, so does the product cost. This is not to say that this is not a good idea in the long run when the economy grows, but for the moment you should have listened to Senator Boulos when he advised to subsidize the rice. Instead you banded with the corrupt others and acted unconstitutionally in an attempt to remove him from office and to terrorize him. As a government, you have failed.
You have failed in serving your people.
You have failed in being a human being.
Subsidize first, help your people, help the economy.
THEN think long-term.
THEN force the increase of wages.
THEN speak of costs.
Until THEN, provide your people with their basic human rights: food, shelter, education.
