It is the Diaspora that have taking both Haiti and its Government for granted.

The Diaspora have not done much to secure Haiti's economy because most of them have forgotten where they came from. Most of the Diaspora do not even bother with Haiti as long as they know where their next piece of bread and chicken is coming from.

The Haitian Diaspora do not have any sense of community and collaboration here in the US yet they like to go to Haiti only to show off their supposedly success in the face of the Haitian people and act like they are more educated and better people than their very own people in Haiti.

The diaspora always have tried to emulate the lifestyle of the Mulatto Elites in Haiti.

Ask any Diaspora Haitians in the US where they come from in Haiti, they all like to say how they are from PetionVille, Delmas yet they would not say they are from the slum areas of Haiti even if they are actually from those areas because they worry about the views of other nations and Americans who get to see those exposed slum areas in the News media almost everyday.

The diaspora is the one raising their children with no forms of Haitian Education of the History of their country.

Indeed I would agree, given that the Diaspora have lived and witness American Politics they somewhat have come to grow accustomed to the way America do things therefore they somewhat become more progressive mentally...

But explain to me how, for generations even way before both Duvalier regimes that, many Haitians have gone overseas and studied and have earned degrees in many areas and domains from all kind of countries around the world; yet how many of them have actually returned to Haiti and invest and putting their skill they have acquired abroad at use for Haiti?

Do you mean to tell me that by now in modern day of the World that there are not rich Haitian millionaires and even billionaires living in other countries around the world?

Of course there are, yet they all like to use the notion of insecurity to no go back to Haiti and contribute to Haiti.

No, they all would like to sit down and wait for Haiti to do for itself without realizing that Haiti is not a person; it is a piece of land that the living bread of people living on it and who are from that who are suppose to do for the land.

Each and every Haitians would like to be able to see Haiti gets better before their very eyes so they too get to enjoy the success while they are still alive because every Haitians would like nothing more to get heir chance to flaunt that in the face of the world, but those same Haitians are cowards because they do not even think about making Haiti better and assure a future HAITI for their kids and grand kids. No Haitians is really willing to die for Haiti and the audacity that exists is that they deny even that themselves.
