Carmel, Double nationality does not exist.

You can only be born in one country or the other.

You are talking about dual citizenship.

If you are born abroad of at least one natural-born Haitian parent who himself/herself never renounced to his/her Haitian citizenship at the time of your birth, then you already have dual citizenship by the Haitian Constitution.

Read the 1987 Haitian Constitution.

And go to any Haitian Consulate to get your Haitian passport.

There is nothing the president needs to do for you. Ok.
