Hi Kokomakak.
I sometimes do reply to a post without reading it all the way through.
When I do, I usually apologize ahead of time to the person that I am replying to, and I usually mention that I am only replying to the parts that I read. In the case of your post, it is only because I read the whole thing through that I know that you were condescending and accusatory towards Mike. Here's a quote of what you said, "What are you doing beside...
to improve the condition of our country.
Do you at least support a little cousin or a neighbor, or pay for someone education?
do you support a church...
What is your contribution?" As you can see from your own words, because Mike criticized the state of the country, you turned on him. Mike and all Haitians have the right to openly and freely criticize the state of the country at anytime and place.
That is true whether or not they are the humanitarian type who get involve or the average Joe who just goes about their daily life. That is the way all democratic countries function.
A person should not come under attack just for stating their opinion.
In your statement you acted as if you knew that this individual was not doing anything for the country--just because he criticized the current government.
Now you put on your righteous indignation hat and pretend that what is there in black and white never was never written.
Perhaps a simple apology for jumping on someone's case for no reason might be a better use of your time. By the way, let's not misunderstand each other, I do not agree with much of what Mike says; I just think that he has a right to his opinion.
Had you just kept to the first part of your answer, you would have made your point without being nasty.
I was actually really enjoying your reply to Mark until the last part of your post when you disintegrated into a nasty rhetoric.
On the other hand, perhaps I was also harsh in my post to you.
