Getting a vote of confidence from a Western newspaper or any Western organization or institution is not necessarily a good thing for any non-Western nation.

As we know from history, these vote of confidence tend to mean that the Western nation is actually getting exactly what it wants from the nation being praised, not that the people of that nation are actually getting what they need. Is that the case here?
