I read your article I think it's one of the most notable articles ever posted on this site. It is absurd to hear Haitians trying to portrait voodoo as a benevolent religion, If voodoo was so great Africa wouldn't be the poorest continent; Haiti wouldn't be the poorest in the americas.

Our ancestors imported this cursed religion from Africa to Haiti.

And it's been a detriment to haiti's progress.

It's time we turn our backs on gods who require us to bathe in mud. We Haitians are to blame for the lack of progress in Haiti; however not fully we can't ignore the fact foreigners have been meddling in our affairs.

Haiti is being punished for being the first black republic.

MEN COTE GEN SITIRANSE FOK GEN VOLE. Despite foreigners meddling in our affairs we could have moved forward but we don't ever unite.

The 5% who succeed don't really care about Haiti.

In fact most them acquire the wealth through trickery.

The Jew, the Syrian, the Lebanese doesn't see himself as a haitian if they did they would work with us to build a better country.

Haiti's lack of progress doesn't mean anything to him. If they paid taxes like the were supose to we would have had money to build schools, hospitals, universities.

But they don't, and when a government tries to get them to pay taxes they incite the uneducated poor to overthrow it. Haiti's lack of progress and inability to enforce the rule of law is good for them they get richer which is why they're able to send their kids to Harvard, Yale, and the likes.

They have a monopoly on the haitian market, and make it hard for anyone to succeed or not impossible, they only care about their pockets not the Haitian economy.

Which is why they focus so much on import and not encouraging local production of goods.

It's easier for them to fix prices that way. Yes, I agree "ti neg nwa" is to blame.

But we would be fooling ourselves if we think the so- called "teint claire" is blameless.

They are complicit in Haiti's failure.
