Llyod, your callus, self-important, self-centered answer to that poor woman's statement "pitie pou ayisyen en guadeloupe" shows that you have no compassion for those who suffer, but more importantly that you have no concept of the reality of the Haitian poor. If you do know, and you still answered her like that, than you are simply a horrible depraved human being.

Most Haitians living in these conditions oversees, had it even worst at home. Over there they suffer humiliation, but at least they eat a little bit more than they did when they were in their own country.

Most of us Haitian know this. Since you've taking it upon yourself to hurt this poor woman by asking her to do something that she clearly can't because, given her horrible living condition she would already have done what you suggested if she could, this is what I suggest that you do. Tell that woman that when she gets to Haiti you will have a job waiting for her. And, if there's no job, than you will take her, her husband, and her children into your own home and feed them and keep them in your home for as long as it takes for them to start work. Haitians are hard workers; as soon as there's a job, they'll be fine. If the job does not come, than you should tell that woman and her family that while they are staying with you, you will change the society so that it can provide jobs for them. If all those things just don't seem like things you want to do, I suggest you refrain from hurling your thoughtless responses at the poor Haitian people who come on this blog.
